Elective Surgeries Have Resumed

We're happy to announce that, as of May 4th, 2020 in accordance with the latest order by Florida's Governor, surgeries have resumed at Joint Implant Surgeons of FL. We realize that many of you are eager to schedule your elective surgeries that had to be postponed. To schedule appointments, please call us at (239) 337-2003. The health and well-being of our patients and staff remains our top priority at Joint Implant Surgeons of FL. Our physicians are monitoring the status of COVID-19 and are following the most current guidelines set forth by the CDC, American Academy of Orthopaedics, and Health Officials. To keep our visitors safe, we have implemented the following practices at our offices and surgery centers:

• We are screening each patient and will be rescheduling anyone with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or those who have traveled outside the state in the last 14 days.

• Only the patient being seen will be permitted upstairs in the treatment areas (family members or loved ones will not be permitted in these areas).

• We will continue practicing increased social distancing and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Patients are encouraged to wear a mask to appointments until further notice by government officials.

• We ask that you only come to our offices if you have an appointment or have made arrangements with our staff.

• We will be staggering visits for increased distance control.

• We are offering TeleMedicine, or remote visits, for certain types of appointments as an alternative to visiting our office.
