Fort Myers, FL - January 5, 2015 Dennis Sagini, MD (www.saginimd.com), hand surgeon at Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, will be providing an educational talk to a group of Lee Memorial nurses at the Sanctuary Outpatient Center on January 13th at 6pm. He will be discussing evaluation and management of common upper extremity conditions. This talk is a private event, with the goal of providing continuing education to nurses working in the Lee Memorial Health System.

“This activity is important as an educational tool for nurses,” said Dr. Dennis Sagini. “It empowers them to help in the evaluation and management of common hand conditions, as well as educate patients in an effort to improve their quality of life.”

In addition to providing internal educational talks for Lee Memorial, Dr. Sagini also offers complimentary public educational health seminars once a month at the Lee Memorial Hospital Auditorium. These talks are around topics relating to common conditions and injuries of the hands, wrists, and elbows, as well as safe and effective treatment options. His next free, educational seminars that are opened to the public will be held on Tuesday, January 6th and Tuesday, February 3rd from 6:30-7:30pm.

“We encourage people in the community to take advantage of these free, educational seminars, and learn about common orthopedic medical conditions,” Dr. Sagini added. “I will be discussing various conditions, including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, and other common conditions that often cause hand numbness or tingling, as well as pain in the hand or wrist. Attendees will learn about causes and prevention of these conditions, as well as simple, safe, and effective treatment options.”
